Michael Barrett

Chief Executive Officer
Michael Barrett has more than 27 years of experience in municipal planning and health care administration, in increasingly more responsible positions with the County of Oxford, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre, and St. Joseph’s Health Care London. Michael joined the South West LHIN in 2007 and was appointed the Chief Executive Officer in 2008. Michael provides leadership to several key provincial initiatives including, the Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health, the Province of Ontario Digital Health Board, the Public Health Executive Steering Committee, Critical Care Services Ontario, and the Southwestern Ontario Academic Health Network. Michael also volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario Board of Directors as the Past-President, and as a member of the National Ronald McDonald House Charities of Canada Board of Directors.

Vice President of Corporate Services
Hilary has been in management positions in the public sector for over 20 years and was a Manager with the South West CCAC for over 10 years. While with the CCAC, Hilary demonstrated leadership in the areas of finance, reporting, control management in addition to workflow processes and measurement.

Maureen Bedek

Vice President Human Resources
Maureen joined the South West CCAC leadership team in September 2015, prior to that, she was the Executive Officer Human Resource Services for the London District Catholic School Board and has held positions as Director of Leadership Development at Bluewater Health and Vice President People & Hospitality Services at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital for 16 years. Maureen brings strong leadership skills to the team, including, labour relations and organizational development. As an Emotional Intelligence facilitator and team coach her work in clarifying expectations and assisting employees to be the best they can be supports a positive workplace culture.

Mark Brintnell

Vice President Quality, Performance and Accountability
Mark is a strong leader and strategic system thinker with over 17 years of experience in health care. As Vice President, Quality, Performance and Accountability Mark provides leadership for system and organizational efforts in enhancing quality, achieving better results, and attaining value for money. Mark is responsible for strategic oversight and operational direction in the areas of quality, accreditation, risk management, health service provider and patient services contract management, financial and program accountability, business intelligence, analytics and evaluation, and performance management and reporting at an organizational and system level.

Kelly Gillis

Vice President of Strategy, System Design and Integration
Kelly has over 25 years of health care leadership experience having spent the majority of her career in leadership roles focused on health care strategic planning and system integration within southwestern Ontario. Kelly joined the South West LHIN in 2006 as the Senior Director, Planning, Integration and Community Engagement. Since joining the LHIN Kelly has provided leadership and guidance to the development of health system plans and implementation of complex change initiatives within the South West LHIN. Kelly has also provided leadership to a number of pan-LHIN priority areas of focus such as hospice palliative care, alignment of quality improvement activities in partnership with HQO, and most recently LHIN Renewal. Prior to joining the LHIN, Kelly worked for London's hospitals as Director of Medical Affairs. She was also the Systems Integration Leader for the Huron Perth Hospitals Partnership and worked as a senior health planner with the Huron Perth and Thames Valley District Health councils.

Donna Ladouceur

Vice President of Home and Community Care
Donna was formerly the Senior Director, Client Services for the South West CCAC since its inception in January 2007. Previously Donna was the Director of Client Services since 2005. Donna has worked in the community since 1990 providing case management for hospitals, community and the children services team as well as leading the development of the End of Life Strategy for London and Middlesex. She was a branch manager prior to that for a community healthcare agency and she has 10 years of senior leadership experience in a Hospital based research clinic which was a joint venture between an acute care hospital and a pharmaceutical company, the first such venture in Canada. Donna has a strong track record of leading innovative, integrated and accountable client-driven care. She is a passionate advocate for consistency and equitable services delivery to clients and has a proven track record as a change leader and proven ability to create and sustain strong strategic partnerships
